The Saint Louis University Libraries and Student Educational Services are pleased to announce the opening of SLU’s new Writing Center Satellite location within the Pius XII Memorial Library. Formerly located on the fourth floor of Pius Library, the Writing Center Satellite is now located on the third floor of the Anheuser-Busch wing of the Library. “This new space is more easily accessible for undergrads,” says Gail M. Staines, Ph.D., Assistant Provost of University Libraries.
“We’re excited about this partnership; the Library is a great place for us to be,” says Writing Center Coordinator Sue Mendelsohn. “When students are tackling their research, we’ll be right there to answer their questions about writing.”
The Writing Center will be open on Tuesday, September 4th. Center hours will be: Sunday, 4pm – 8pm; Monday – Thursday, 10am – 8pm, and Friday, 10am – 3pm.
A grand opening will be scheduled for later in the fall semester.
For more information on the Center, please contact Sue Mendelsohn at 977-2930 or writingcenter@slu.edu.
