Cafe Libros to Close Over Winter Break

The Interlibrary Loan Department at Pius Library will be closed from December 20-January 1. Normal hours will resume on January 2nd. If you have any questions, please contact Dave or Shawnee at (314) 977-3104.
Dr. Gail Staines, Assistant Provost for University Libraries, offers her recommendations of great books to give and receive as gifts. All of the books are available through most booksellers.

Join us for an interdisciplinary discussion of a new SLU text: Theological Foundations: Concepts and Methods for Understanding Christian Faith. The discussion will be held Thursday, November 29th from 3-5 pm in the Du Bourg Grand Hall. A discussion and reception will follow.
Ron Crown, Theology Liaison Librarian at Pius Library is one of the text’s contributing authors. Gail Staines, Assistant Provost for University Libraries, will be a panelist.

Effective immediately, the upper floors of Pius Library will close earlier than the building. If you are in the library, please move to Level 1 at the times listed below.
Only students, faculty, and staff with current SLU IDs, may enter the Library after 11:30 p.m.
Pius Library will close at 6pm on Tuesday, November 20th for Thanksgiving Break. The library will remain closed November 21-23rd and will resume normal hours on Saturday November 24th at 10am.
Cafe Libros will close at 2pm on November 20th and will remain closed November 21-25th. The Cafe will reopen Monday, November 26th at 8am.
Attend the grand opening of the new University Libraries Digitization Center from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Lewis Annex, Room 302, of the Pius XII Memorial Library.
