Bound Journals No Longer Available for Faculty Check Out

Beginning in January, the Interlibrary Loan Unit will provide faculty with document delivery of articles from bound journals since these journals will no longer be available for faculty check out. Tagging of journals for move to the Locust Street Library Facility (LSLF) and their move to LSLF prevents check out of these bound volumes. Reminder to Non-Returning and Ph.D. Students

Library accounts will expire on January 7, 2009 for all students who have not registered for the Spring 2009 semester. Consequently, all materials currently checked out to students who have not enrolled are due by January 7, 2009 and will remain non-renewable until registration is completed. These materials are subject to late fees and billing. Graduate students who are working on dissertations in the absence of taking classes are reminded that they must register for zero credit hours in order to maintain a library account.

Students: Are You Graduating in December?

This is a friendly reminder to students who are planning to graduate this December. Pius Library would like to remind you that all outstanding books and fines must be taken care of prior to graduation. Starting this semester, the Library is initiating a new practice of withholding diplomas and transcripts for all graduates who have unpaid fines and/or non-returned library materials. Students are encouraged to check their library records by logging into their library account at: https://libcat.slu.edu/patroninfo/ or by calling the Circulation Desk at 314.977.3087. All fines must be paid at the Circulation Desk at Pius Library.

Interlibrary Loan Office Will Close For Holidays

The Pius XII Memorial Library Interlibrary Loan Department will be closing for the holidays from December 22nd through January 6th.  Please submit your orders as soov as possible.
