Blackwell/Synergy and Wiley Journal Titles Available Again

All Blackwell titles were moved to the Wiley InterScience Web site from June 27-29th.  Access should now be available for all Blackwell-Synergy titles and Wiley titles to which the SLU Libraries subscribe on the Wiley InterScience Web site.  http://ezp.slu.edu/login?url=http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/  Today, the E-Journal Portal is sending all requests for Blackwell titles to the main Wiley InterScience page, where you will again need to search for the journal title.  Tomorrow, all Blackwell titles should be going directly to each journal’s home page.

Try SCOPUS Until October 31

The database SCOPUS from Elsiever is on trial until October 31. SCOPUS indexes and abstracts over 15,000 peer-reviewed journals from over 4,000 publishers, 1,000 Open Access journals, 500 conference proceedings, 600 trade publications, patents, and quality web sources. Covers primarily the science, technology, and medical literature. Updated daily. Search by keyword, author, title and many other options. Refine by author, journal, subject, author’s location. Each article also provides a list of articles citing it.

Historical New York Times & Chicago Tribune - Available Online

Great news! Pius Library has purchased ProQuest Historical Newspapers: New York Times & Chicago Tribune.

The New York Times offers full-text and full-image articles from 1851-2003 and the Chicago Tribune from 1849-1985.

Trial is now available for Religion Resource.

Religion Resource is browsable by book title, alphabetical entries from all books, or by subject (select Religion only-the others are not available for this trial). Use the Advanced Search to search the full text or for people in headings or bibliographies or works in bibliographies.

Journal Citation Reports Online is now available.

The two editions of Journal Citation Reports (JCR) for 2005 are now available to the Saint Louis University community online. JCR editions are each searchable separately.
