Just in time for finals, Nick explains the difference between a scholarly journal and a general magazine in “What Is a Scholarly Journal?“. He also offers tips on how you can search for a scholarly journal.

Nick also sits down with John Montre, the new liaison librarian for Parks College. In “Meet John Montre,” Johns talk about his new position and his plans for creating a presence at Parks.

October Edition of Conversations Is Posted

“Conversations,” a new and exciting podcast series hosted by Dr. Gail Staines, Assistant Provost for University Libraries, debuts today. Each month, Gail will be talking with a faculty member about their research and how libraries have played a role.
